As an Edinburgh wedding photographer, I’m spoiled for such a range of gorgeous venues and backgrounds – from elegant city venues to natural, rustic locales like Cairns Farm Estate just outside Edinburgh. Nestled into the Pentland Hills, Cairns Farm Estate has quickly become one of my favourite venues to photograph. With sweeping grounds perfect for photography and a cozy Georgian farmhouse for the bridal prep, Cairns Farm Estate offers a serene environment that feels both luxurious and intimate.
I got to know Miryam and Elliot a few months ahead of their big day when we did a relaxed autumnal pre-wedding photo session. They wanted to blend their Indian and Scottish heritages for their wedding day and I think it came out perfectly. Even on a gray rainy February day, they brought tons of colour and fun to their decor. I will never get over how stunning Miryam looked in her colourfully embroidered dress. It was clear from all the personal touches to the ceremony and the reception that these two are madly in love and have a very bright future ahead of them.
If you’re getting married at Cairns Farm Estate or anywhere in the vicinity of Edinburgh, I’d love to be part of your special day and help you create memories that you’ll treasure forever. Contact me to learn more about my wedding photography services and to discuss your wedding vision!
