One of the biggest misconceptions about intimate weddings and elopements is that they only need a few hours of coverage. But some of the most meaningful celebrations I've photographed have unfolded across an entire day or even two.
An all-day celebration gives you the freedom to enjoy your wedding without constantly watching the clock. To have a slow morning. To exchange love letters over coffee. To wander through a walled garden while the roses are in bloom. To share a long lunch with family. To take a walk together before dinner. To linger over good food and conversation as daylight begins to soften. And to preserve it all in your photographs.

Perhaps you and your partner get ready together or you see each other for the first time beneath old trees or in a quiet courtyard. Your ceremony feels intimate and personal. You exchange vows between just the two of you or maybe with a few close family in attendance.

I'm an Edinburgh-based luxury elopement photographer specialising in romantic and refined photography.
When I got married in 2014, I chose to elope and it was a fantastic decision. It was the perfect day for us, so I know the benefits of eloping and spending a special day doing all the things you love.
II've always believed that the most memorable weddings feel connected to the time of year they're celebrated.
Every season brings its own atmosphere.
Spring weddings feel hopeful and full of anticipation. Summer celebrations invite people outdoors and encourage long conversations that stretch into the evening. Autumn brings richness, warmth, and beautiful light. Winter weddings feel intimate, candlelit, and deeply romantic.
Rather than trying to create the same wedding in every season, I love helping couples embrace what makes each time of year special.

No two elopements look exactly the same, but they are all centered around what matters most to my couples. A sense of occasion. And the changing rhythm of the season they're celebrating in. Personal, meaningful and unhurried.
Some couples choose a quiet ceremony for two, followed by an afternoon exploring a beautiful landscape together. Others gather their closest family and friends for a celebration in a garden, a historic venue, or around a long dinner table filled with conversation and candlelight.
My elopements are designed to give you the freedom to experience your wedding day fully, while knowing every part of it is being thoughtfully documented.
From planning support and timeline guidance to the final gallery you receive, my role is to make the experience feel calm, considered, and genuinely enjoyable from beginning to end.
