Fae and Alex were such a lovely couple to work with – their pre-wedding portraits was such a fun day in South Queensferry with the Forth Rail Bridge looking majestic in the background. Their September wedding at Carberry Tower in Musselburgh, East Lothian perfectly blended their Nigerian and Scottish cultures to create a really memorable wedding. The bride and her bridesmaids got ready in the gorgeous library and music room. With a Carberry Tower wedding, couples have access to the historic house itself, along with a separate ceremony space, a well tended rose garden for the drinks reception and sprawling grounds shaded beautifully by mature trees. The colour palate for the wedding was an elegant navy blue and cream with grey tweed suits. The evening ended with glittering sparklers in the rose garden followed by a Nigerian money dance where the guests showered the newlyweds with cash to start off their lives together. As an Edinburgh wedding photographer, I’ve worked at Carberry Tower a few times now, with each wedding there being totally unique.
