Elegant, timeless wedding at South Queensferry historic house

Laura and Paul’s June wedding at the historic Hopetoun House was stunning from start to finish. Their style was classic and traditional, with their ceremony taking place in the converted stables and their reception in the elegant ballroom just across the front courtyard. While the guests enjoyed some fizz, we took some bridal portraits around the extensive grounds. As an Edinburgh wedding photographer, I’m lucky to get to peek inside centuries-old grand houses and estates, but this was my first chance to photograph at Hopetoun House since moving to Edinburgh.
